The Chevrolet Deluxe is a trim line of Chevrolet automobiles that was marketed from 1941 to 1952, and was the volume sales leader for the market during the 1940s. The line included at first a 4-door sedan , but grew to include a fastback 2-door "aerosedan" and other body styles.
The Chevrolet Fleetline remained in production during the war but only for military uses. [2] It received the United States Army-Navy "E" Award for operational excellence. It was approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) east of the former Naval Air Station Alameda .
The G-506 trucks, 1 + 1 ⁄ 2-ton, 4x4, produced as the Chevrolet G7100 (and originally G4100) models, were a series of (light) medium four wheel drive trucks used by the United States Army and its allies during and after World War II. This series came in standard cargo, as well as many specialist type bodies.
