Marsh Creek State Park is a 1,705 acres (690 ha) Pennsylvania state park in Upper Uwchlan and Wallace Townships, Chester County, Pennsylvania in the United States. The park is the location of the 535-acre (217 ha) man-made Marsh Creek Lake .
[4] [5] In 1972, the earthen Marsh Creek Dam was completed, standing at 89 feet (27 m) high and 990 feet (301 m) long. [6] Today, the site of Milford Mills lies beneath the 530-acre (2.1 km 2) Marsh Creek Lake, and is part of a water management project operated by the Chester County Water Resources Authority and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The Larkin Covered Bridge is a 60-foot-long (18 m), Burr truss wooden covered bridge that is located outside of Chester Springs, Chester County, Pennsylvania, near the village of Eagle. The bridge, which originally crossed over Marsh Creek, now spans a dry ditch and is a feature of the Upper Uwchlan Township trail system.

Past here, PA 282 continues south through forested areas along the west bank of the East Branch Brandywine Creek. Near Springton Manor Farm, the road winds south before it makes a sharp turn to the northeast. It is a passageway for migrating fish. Specifically, Moon Lake is in the Hunlock Creek watershed—a Cold Water Fishery. The watershed of the lake covers 0.5 square miles (130 ha). Forested land serves as a riparian buffer from development around the lake. [6] Throughout the park are many wetlands, spring speeds, vernal ponds, and small streams.
This area provides fishing in both the 145 acre (0.6 km 2) impoundment and Darby Creek. Common fish are carp, catfish, large-mouth bass and smaller panfish. Another fishing area is near Tinicum and Prospect Park on the west side of Route 420 which provides access to the lagoon areas of the refuge.
