Punderson State Park is a 741-acre (300 ha) public recreation area in Newbury, Ohio. The state park features a 150-acre (61 ha) lake [ 2 ] and a lodge that enjoys a reputation for being haunted. The state park has facilities for swimming, fishing, camping, yurt hurdling, golf, disc golf, and sledding in wintertime.
The CDP is located along the northern shore of Indian Lake [3] and includes the neighborhood known as Island View. [4] The northern edge of the CDP follows Ohio State Route 235, the eastern edge follows Blackhawk Run, the southern edge is the shore of Indian Lake, and the western edge is the border of Indian Lake State Park.
