Masha and the Bear (Russian: Ма́ша и Медве́дь, romanized: Másha i Medvéd', pronounced [ˈmaʂə ɪ mʲɪdˈvʲetʲ]) is a Russian preschool comedy animated television series created by Oleg Kuzovkov and produced by Animaccord Animation Studio, loosely based on the oral children's folk story of the same name.
Masha fell ill on 13 April 2003, complaining of back pain. She died of a heart attack the following day, seventeen hours after the onset of her symptoms. Dasha was taken to the First City Hospital and died seventeen hours later due to blood poisoning from the toxic byproducts of Masha's decomposing body. [1]
