Blame Yamaha and Escort. RX-100 was first used in certain markets for the variant of the RS-100, with an odometer/rev-counter and a front disk brake, made from 1977 to 1982 (as I recollect). A basically identical machine was sold in the UK during the same period as an RS-100.
