The Legend of Zorro (Japanese: 快傑ゾロ, Hepburn: Kaiketsu Zoro, lit."Extraordinary Zorro") is a Japanese anime, based on the western character Zorro.The series was initially broadcast in Italy in 1994 before being broadcast in Japan two years later, albeit with some episodes skipped (only 46 of the original 52 episodes were shown in Japan).

Zoro goes missing, as the Straw Hats restock. On their search for him, Sanji, Nami, Chopper, and Robin follows Maya, a girl of the island, to a village. There, Zoro appears, accompanied by a group of marines. Zoro wields his sword against Sanji and takes three jewel orbs from Maya. Luffy stumbles upon a training center of the local Marine division.
The Straw Hat Pirates begin their attack with Luffy, Zoro and Sanji taking the lead in the fight but mostly it is the latter two of the three who begin showing their new powers and abilities from their two-year separation and training. Zoro starts showing off his newly modified sword attacks while Sanji displays a more powerful style of kicking.
In the 4Kids English adaptation, his name is spelled Roronoa Zolo, and he is voiced by Marc Diraison. [2] The VIZ media also calls him "Zolo". In the Funimation English adaptation, his voice is supplied by Christopher Sabat. [3] Zoro is portrayed by Mackenyu in the live-action adaptation of One Piece. [4]
