Ashland University is the second GLIAC team to win a women's basketball Division II national championship. Kari Daugherty was selected as the 2013 Women's Division II Bulletin player of the year, as well as the most outstanding player. Daugherty is the first Ashland University player to receive the Bulletin's player of the year award.

This is a list of the schools in Division II of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States and Canada that have wrestling as a varsity sport. In the current 2024–25 season, there are a total of 70 Division II wrestling programs.
In 2002, the team also advanced to the NCAA Championship and became the first Ashland University team to win a game at the World Series. In 2009, the Eagles were 42–15–1 and won the GLIAC regular season title with a 26–5–1 record.
