KTVL (channel 10) is a television station in Medford, Oregon, United States, affiliated with CBS and The CW Plus.Owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, the station has studios on North Fir Street in downtown Medford, and its transmitter is located atop Mount Ashland, 15 miles (24 km) south of the city.
The first station in Medford, located between 8th and Main, was constructed by the Oregon and California Railroad in 1883 as the temporary terminal until the road could be completed over Siskiyou Pass. It was replaced by a new station slightly to the south in 1900.
The Medford School District passed a school bond in November 2006 that collected $189 million to completely rebuild South Medford High School and Lone Pine Elementary School. [2] Some remodeling was done to North Medford High School. All schools received a part of the bond money for repairs and renovations.

The South Medford campus was originally built in 1931 as Medford High School. Then in the 1960s, the school was divided between two campuses. Medford High became Medford Mid High, serving grades 9 and 10, with grades 11 and 12 going to a newly constructed campus, known as Medford Senior High, which is the current North Medford High School campus.
