Super Canal is a Dominican television network operating from studios in Santo Domingo and broadcasting on channel 33. [1] [2] The station is owned by Supercanal, S.A. [3] Its broadcasts started in April 2000, with an 18-hour schedule at the time, having a Harris transmitter (touted as the "Rolls-Royce of transmitters" at the time) for its operation.
The channel rebranded in December 2006, with its digital slot timesharing with Canal 300, allowing El 33 to broadcast 24/7 on the digital terrestrial platform (the analog version still timeshared with El 33). The 2009 Festa dels Súpers led to the renaming of K3 to Canal Super3, thus unifying it with the branding of Club Super3.
It started on 10 October 2022, replacing Canal Super 3. SX3 is the third incarnation of a children's and teenagers' channel from TVC, as Canal Super 3 replaced in 2009 in turn the previous children's channel, K3, which started in 2001.

K3 was born in 2001 from the re-estructuration of TVC's second channel, Canal 33, that split it in two channels that shared the same frequency: 33 and K3. While this was valid for analogue broadcasting, the DDT broadcasting changed in December 2006. 33 got the old frequency on its own, while K3 shared its multiplex slot with the 300 channel.
