Crawford County is a county located in the north central portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2020 census, the population was 42,025. [1] Its county seat and largest city is Bucyrus. [2] The county was created in 1820 and later organized in 1836. [3] It was named for Colonel William Crawford, a soldier during the American Revolution. [4]

The Big Four Depot of Galion, Ohio was a passenger train station serving the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railway, commonly known as the 'Big Four Depot,' and the New York Central Railroad. The brick and wood-constructed building, still intact, is located at 127 Washington Street at Harding Way. [1]
The buildings are now owned by the Galion Historical Society. The 1887 Brownella Cottage features its original furnishings and is open for tours. The church is located across the street from the cottage and is available for events.
