Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), formerly Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) is a state university located in Dwarka, Delhi, India. In 2018, the institute was granted university status, changing its name to Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT).
In comparison to the sanctioned intake in degree-level courses of engineering in metropolitan cities, Delhi had the lowest intake compared to Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai and Pune. The college plans to offer graduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in Engineering and Science and to enrol 2,000 students.
It was founded as a State University [3] by an act of the Delhi Government (The IIIT Delhi Act, 2007) [4] in 2008, with seed support from the Government of NCT of Delhi. [5] The institute began with its first batch of 60 students on 8 September 2008 from NSUT (NSIT at that time). IIIT-Delhi moved to its current permanent campus in August 2012.
