Morecambe is a seaside town in the City of Lancaster, Lancashire, England. It contains 43 buildings that are recorded in the National Heritage List for England as designated listed buildings . Of these, two are at Grade II*, the middle grade, and the others are at Grade II, the lowest grade.

The Exchange, which was set up in 2015 and is based on West Street in the West End of Morecambe, is a Community Arts CIC, offering free creative workshops to local residents. Promoting creativity as a means of well-being, it serves as a non-profit welcome space for all ages and abilities.
Until 2014 the paper was published from offices in Victoria Street, Morecambe by Lancaster & Morecambe Newspapers Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnston Press plc. From February 2014 the editorial base for the paper, along with sister newspaper Lancaster Guardian, was moved to new offices on the White Lund Industrial Estate, Morecambe. [2]
Bare is a suburb of and electoral ward in Morecambe, within the City of Lancaster district in Lancashire, England. The population of the ward as taken at the Census 2011 was 4,067. [1] Bare has a high street (Princes Crescent), and a railway station connecting it to Morecambe and Lancaster. Its name comes from Anglo-Saxon bearu meaning "grove". [2]
The building was commissioned to replace the old 19th century town hall, which had been built for the Poulton, Bare and Torrisholme Local Board of Health, on Morecambe Street. [2] The device of a three-masted ship in full sail, [3] which had been used by Morecambe Corporation, still appears on the front of the old building. [2]
After Morecambe Promenade station closed on 7 February 1994, a replacement Morecambe station was built on approximately the site of the old Northumberland Street station, opening on 29 May 1994. [4] A mural depicting the station is one of a series by Patricia Haskey and Graham Lowe which form the Poulton Village Art Trail. [5]
