The hotel opened in 1895 and was the only 19th-century hotel still in operation in Brussels, until it closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020, after 125 years of continuous operation. [1] The hotel had 251 rooms and 22 spacious suites. [ 4 ]
