Patillas (Spanish pronunciation:, locally [paˈtiʎaʔ]) is a beach town and municipality of Puerto Rico located in the southeastern coast, south of San Lorenzo; west of Yabucoa and Maunabo; and east of Guayama and Arroyo.
Like all municipalities of Puerto Rico, Patillas is subdivided into administrative units called barrios, which are, in contemporary times, roughly comparable to minor civil divisions.
