The Virgin Islands Daily News is a daily newspaper in the United States Virgin Islands headquartered on the island of Saint Thomas. Hodge attempted a successful political comeback in 1984, when he was elected as a senator to the 16th Legislature of the Virgin Islands. He won the most votes in the senate race on Saint Croix.
