Ichigo Kurosaki (黒崎 一護, Kurosaki Ichigo) is a fictional character in the Bleach manga series and its adaptations created by author Tite Kubo.He is the main protagonist of the series, who receives Soul Reaper powers after meeting Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper assigned to patrol around the fictional city of Karakura Town.

The battle between Ichigo and Ginjō comes to a close when the latter receives a mortal wound. Ichigo manages to cut Yammy slightly with a point-blank Getsuga Tenshō using a new hollow mask, but is unable to wear it again. Yammy takes advantage of the situation and grabs Ichigo, with an intent of crushing Ichigo with his bare hands.
Ikkaku Madarame joins in the game, while sparring with Ichigo under the impression that he was undergoing intensive training. Then a hollow appears on the field, drawn by everyone's spiritual pressure. With the help of Ichigo, Uryū and Chad, the hollow is quickly dispatched, but the game ends because Lurichiyo's team dropped the ball.
