A few words about…™ Total Recall – in 4k UHD. except that it has more than a few effects. the heavy grain structure seen generally throughout. Whether this might be combined with a bit of. sharpening to help bring out details, I know not. Some shots, especially with effects do not exhibit this appearance.
4/5 (not an average) Total Recall: Mind-Bending Edition (as this new Blu-ray issue is billing itself) is an exciting if particularly violent sci-fi adventure tale. There are a couple of new bonus features here, and while the picture quality is not (and will probably never be) reference in nature, the film is still loads of fun to see again.
It’s a Total Recall-lite which will likely disappoint even those who are too young to remember the original, let alone those who know it and love it well. Flimsy and frivolous, it’s notional popcorn entertainment for two hours, but most likely to make you take a breath, scratch your head, and put on the Arnie movie to wash away the taste.
Hi, The UK version can be bought in HMV stores for £8, and as there's no extras listed on the back of the Blu-Ray case, I'm assuming it's a bare-bones package. Still, for £8, it's worth buying. Pooch. Or online from amazon for £6.13 Total Recall [Blu-ray]: Amazon.co.uk: Film & TV.
Supporting Actor. Yes I complained to Sony via email the Master Audio track experienced dropouts when played on my Toshiba and Momitsu Blu-ray players. The Blu-ray played without audio dropouts if you switched to another audio track. Attached is Sony's response. I have my Blu-ray players hooked to a Sony HD Receiver via HDMI set to Bitstream.
