A snow globe (also called a waterglobe, snowstorm, [1] or snowdome) is a transparent sphere, traditionally made of glass, enclosing a miniaturized scene of some sort, often together with a model of a town, neighborhood, landscape or figure.
A cased glass blank is an object made with several layers of colors. When it is decorated (often by cutting or engraving) the lower layers of one or more different colors are revealed.
