State Highway 17A (SH-17A) is a 3.10-mile (4.99 km) long [1] long state highway in south-central Oklahoma. It connects Interstate 35 (I-35) to U.S. Route 77 (US-77) near Wynnewood. It does not connect to its implied parent, State Highway 17. SH-17A was established around 1982, and has always had the same route.
The highway serves a number of smaller communities in the area and intersects two US Highways while carrying between 4,200 and 11,300 vehicles on a daily basis. M-34 was designated and signed with the beginning of the state highway system around July 1, 1919, along a route that extended to either end of its current routing.
