Villa Shodhan (or Shodhan House) is a modernist villa located in Ahmedabad, India. Designed by the Swiss architect Le Corbusier , it was built between 1951 and 1956. In 1893, a leprosy home was founded in Poladpur by Haripant Kelkar and Rev. J. B. Bawa. [4] The hospital still exists today and is run by The Leprosy Mission. [5] In 2018, a bus carrying 34 passengers fell into a gorge in Poladpur while traveling to Mahabaleshwar. Only 1 person survived. [6]
