The 1996 Syracuse Orangemen football team represented Syracuse University as a member of the Big East Conference during the 1996 NCAA Division I-A football season.Led by sixth-year head coach Paul Pasqualoni, the Orangemen compiled an overall record of 9–3 with a mark of 6–1 in conference play, sharing the Big East title with the Miami Hurricanes and the Virginia Tech Hokies.
