UCD Marian is an Irish basketball team based in Dublin that competes in the Super League. The team is a division of UCD Marian Basketball Club and is directly associated with the University College Dublin .
UCD's season started on 4 February when UCD lost to Shamrock Rovers 4–1 in the Leinster Senior Cup. [1] Their first LOI Premier Division match was on 17 February against Dundalk . [ 2 ] They failed to win any of their first 9 Premier Division matches (17 February – 10 April). [ 2 ]

They assumed the name "Collegians", and entered the Universities & Colleges League, the forerunner of the current UCD Super League. [ citation needed ] The team played on as "Collegians" until the end of the 1971/72 season, when the name was changed to Terenure College A.F.C. and they subsequently joined the Amateur League Division 2 Sunday.
