St Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Academy (formerly St Augustine of Canterbury Catholic High School) is a Roman Catholic coeducational secondary school. It is located in the Blackbrook area of St Helens, Merseyside, England. [1] The school is named after Augustine of Canterbury, the first Archbishop of Canterbury.
Built in 1957, St Cuthbert's is one of the oldest Secondary Schools in St Helens, famous in the 1960s for its rugby and football achievements. The first Head Teacher was Frederick Grundy.
