Hello Max, I’m big a fan of Historical cookery, and was delighted to see your channel pop up on my feed one day. I love your delightful eccentricity. I asked on your last video, but never got a response. I would love to see you look at Canada's first cookbook, written in country, La cuisinière canadienne.

Handsomest guy on YouTube for sure. I recently discovered "Tasting History". I've got some catching up to do! I love the corny "Dad jokes" and thoroughly enjoy the bits of history. Very interesting, to say the least! I want to add my appreciation to earlier comments for this video.

The first ever video I watched was the Garum episode when it premiered 2 years ago. Ever since then, I've been watching Max Miller's videos faithfully. Then, I introduced my mom to his channel and we literally watched every single episode (over a period of time lol)! Now, we must wait to watch a video as it premieres, which we do every week.

Where can I buy Max’s very cool apron? My husband and I are big fans of the show and for Christmas he’s added Max’s apron (or similar) to his very small list. Anyone know where it’s from? I’m talking specifically about the one with leather or possibly suede fabric and the little latch at the top, as worn in the Pemmican episode recently.

It was so much better than the corn syrup recipes. It didn't burn your throat from the amount of sweetness, you could really taste the pecans, and like Max said in the video, the pecans on top really had an added roasted flavor to them, giving this pie an extra layer of flavor. This pie will now be a holiday staple.
