Went to Home Depot yesterday and was planning on purchasing Zoysia seed and Hydroseeding and area around my newly installed pool. They also sell Centipede grass seed. I though I was to far north for that. Live in Chattanooga, Borders the Georgia Line.

I have read the label but I am also interested in any advice or experiences that you guys can share regarding best practices. I am mainly using it for control of a lot of lespedeza that is all over the lawn.

MSMA will work but not everyone can use it. Typically I don't get any invasion of centipede because of my more active fert schedule and the multiple applications of 3-way and other stuff to wipe out wintry weeds early on in the year. keep the centipede and get rid of the bermuda. A few months ago, I applied Tenacity to a centipede lawn. No whitening on the centipede, but anything else in the grass turned white. Including some zoysia and St Augustine contamination.
