Here's a set of 15x10 Tacoma wheels from the early 70s. They were sold through J Fair tire, Dick Cepek, Fairway Ford and any respectable Off ROad shop back in the day. These ones have 3.5" backspacing and are 15x10" 5 on 5.5" for the Broncos. They were on cool Custom Broncos of the time like the Silver Fox and Charlie Erickson white sand ...

  3. Dealer installed flares? | ClassicBroncos.com Forum

    classicbroncos.com/forums/threads/dealer-installed-flares.325391

Some dealers (most notably Fairway Ford in SoCal) built up and sold many Bronco build packages and would finance all of the accessories and labor as well, from just flares to throwing a whole catalog of parts on it along with custom paint… No reason to not believe a small town Oregon dealer wouldn’t add flares to make a sale.

Today is a great day to start telling my Baja's story because it turns 49 today (4/17/22) & I drove it out of the garage under its own power for the 1st time in 16 years. Here's when I bought it in Breckenridge Co. in April of 1988 about an hour after I got it.

10,875. Aug 20, 2015. #13. My original roll bar I put in back in 1977 was made by Hungus. It was a 2" bar with 2" support legs. The support legs turned down from the main hoop right down to the front top corner of the Wheel well. Its claim to fame was it was 1 welded structure.

It was built buy Holman Moody and Stroppe and used by the Hearst family at the Hearst castle. Somehow, Ed Perry, father of Dann, ended up with it. Ed was in fleet sales for Pearson Ford in San Diego and also owned the start up Ed Perry Tire Company, a small shop that sold Gates tires. The original Bronco had a cloth top.

  7. Carb throttle linkage setup? Standard/302 - ClassicBroncos.com...

Bronco Guru. The easiest fix is to simply use the rod from the bottom hanging lever to the hole below the throttle shaft on the carb to push the throttle open. This rod is not in your photo but is in the photos on the threat referenced above. Look for it. It's about 6" long with a 90 degree bend at each end.

    128. Oct 11, 2024. #2. The Coyote includes a lot of complexities around electrical, computer, etc…. A new (you can get takeoffs) Coyote setup is $30k+. Lots more options for LS. That said, I wouldn’t do either. I’m just finishing up my restoration and left the stock 302. Even left the carb on it.

Messages. 1,975. Oct 4, 2024. #1. I am installing the new cork gasket on my C4 pan. My Hayes manual says torque the bolts 12 to 16 ft lbs. I have my set at 10 ft lbs to start as this was suggested by the few YouTube videos I watched. The problem I'm having is my cork gasket is starting to squeeze out all around, and I haven't even hit the ...

8,317. May 28, 2007. #2. The resistor wire (pink) goes from the ignition switch to the bulkhead connector. On the inside of the engine compartment, it's just plain wire. You may just have a problem at that connector. I had a similar problem, only it was with the connection for the Water Temp.
