The SR20DET is a 2.0 L (1,998 cc) straight-four four-stroke gasoline engine that is part of the SR family of engines from Nissan, produced from 1989 to 2002. It is a turbocharged version of the SR20DE engine and is a replacement of the CA18DET engine. Like with the outgoing CA18DET, the SR20DET was a turbocharged intercooled engine in top form.
The SR20DET is a 2.0 L (1,998 cc) DOHC engine. It is a turbocharged version of the SR20DE, with power outputs ranging from 204 PS (201 hp; 150 kW) at 6000 rpm to 250 PS (247 hp; 184 kW) at 6400 rpm, and torque outputs ranging from 266 N⋅m (196 lb⋅ft) at 4800 rpm to 280 N⋅m (207 lb⋅ft) at 4800 rpm.
This newer '20V' engine, along with the SR20VET, were the only SR20 engines to get restyled valve covers. It also came with an upgraded intake manifold, which has longer runners and a larger 70 mm (2.8 in) throttle body (earlier SR20VE has 60 mm). Another version of the VVL SR engines, is the 1.6 L SR16VE.

The RB26DETT engine is a 2.6 L (2,568 cc) twin-turbo inline-six engine manufactured by Nissan, for use in the 1989-2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R. The RB26DETT engine block is made from cast iron, while the cylinder head is made from aluminium alloy, which contains DOHC 4 valves per cylinder (24 valves in total) setup
From what I have seen Black does not mean turbo unless it is in the Silvia. Redtop engine is always turbo. IE SR20DET as used in the Pulsar GTi-R and, Bluebird SSS Attesa Limited. Red top in not always Turbo, but may be Turbo. In England the red top was used in the 2.0 e GT Primera. This was a multi point fuel injected engine.
