North East High School in 1906. North East High School was first begun in 1898 as a section of the town's existing schoolhouse. The first graduation ceremony was held in 1901. In 1906, the school moved into a newly constructed two-story building. The high school occupied the second floor, while lower grades were taught in the first floor. [2] [3]
Northeast High School is a public high school in unincorporated northeastern Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. The school opened in 1964 and serves as one of two high schools for the town of Pasadena , which is fifteen miles south of Baltimore .
The existing building was constructed in 1914 for US$500,000 (equivalent to about $15,209,000 in 2023) as one of the largest schools in the state. Its interior was renovated in 1988 and a new gymnasium, weight room, and locker rooms were constructed on its south side.
