Kirsty Marianne Bentley (18 January 1983 – 31 December 1998) was a teenager living in Ashburton, New Zealand, who went missing while walking her family dog on the afternoon on 31 December 1998. After an extensive search lasting several weeks, her body was found in dense scrub approximately 40 km away.
