Whilst I cannot speak with authority on the Toyota Granvia, I note an independent page under that title does suggest a 2.7L inline 4 engine option, but does refer to a 2.4L engine. The 2RZ-FE on the page for this discussion is as a 2.4L inline 4 cylinder engine with DOHC & 4 valves per cylinder. I own a 1999 (4th generation) 2RZ-E powered HiAce.
For this model (and upwards) customers could choose which engine option they wanted to use – a 1.8-litre 7K-E petrol engine, a 2.0-litre 1RZ-E petrol engine or a 2.4-litre 2L diesel engine. The 2.0-litre engine option was offered in the LGX and Krista trims from 6 September 2000 (introduced at the 10th Gaikindo Auto Expo ).
