BISE Peshawar was established in 1961 by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Previously, it was conducting the examination of intermediate and secondary education for the whole Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province but later, new educational boards were established in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by the government and now its jurisdiction is Peshawar Division .

Municipal Inter College for Girls, Peshawar is a secondary school and intermediate college located in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] The college is affiliated with Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Peshawar for both Science and Arts courses of SSC and HSSC .
Lahore Board is the mainstream of education [clarification needed] throughout the country. It is considered as the biggest educational board in Pakistan . Around 2 million students are examined every year through this board in matriculation and intermediate exams.
Peshawar District is divided into five towns: [1] Town I; Town II; Town III; Town IV; Town V (Ex-FR Peshawar) These towns are further subdivided into 103 union councils, with each union council having an elected "Nazim".
In the 1960s it was a girls-only school. The boys' school was called St. Mary's High School, Peshawar. From 1964 to 1970 Mother Malecky, Mother Baptist, and Sister Agatha were the principals. A bomb hoax created panic in the Presentation Convent School on The Mall on May 10, 2002. [3] In 2006, a mob attacked the school and set it on fire.

BISE Abbottabad came into being as a result of the break-up of Peshawar Board in 1990 under the North West Frontier Province Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act 1990. The organisation building is located on Murree Road, Abbottabad. [1]
