Jamie Paul Durie OAM (born 3 June 1970 [citation needed]) is an Australian horticulturalist and landscape designer, furniture designer, television host, television producer, and author of eleven books on landscape architecture, garden design and lifestyle.
He is best known as the longtime host of Burke's Backyard, a lifestyle program produced by his wife's company CTC Productions, which ran for 17 years from 1987 to late 2004 on the Nine Network. He was also responsible for the creation of garden makeover program Backyard Blitz, starring former colleague Jamie Durie.
The original series first ran for two consecutive seasons in 2003 and 2004, and was originally hosted by Jamie Durie.
