Velocity, Inc. is an American kit aircraft manufacturer. The company was founded in 1984 by Danny Maher, marketing a four-seat homebuilt aircraft based on the Long-EZ design. The first prototype flew in 1985.

The Velocity Model 173 SE (Standard Elite) is an entry-level canard pusher aircraft from Velocity Aircraft. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] The four seat, rear engine aircraft may be powered by a 160 hp (120 kW) Lycoming IO-320 or a 200 hp (150 kW) Lycoming IO-360 engine.
A good wheelbuilder will ensure that the valve hole lies between two nearly parallel spokes to ease attachment of a pump head. This does not affect the structural integrity of the wheel, and this rule is usually observed. If the hub has a maker's label on its barrel, it is convention for the label to face (and be readable through) the valve hole.
The Ekman layer, with its distinguishing feature the Ekman spiral, is rarely observed in the ocean. The Ekman layer near the surface of the ocean extends only about 10 – 20 meters deep, [6] and instrumentation sensitive enough to observe a velocity profile in such a shallow depth has only been available since around 1980. The Velocity V-Twin is a four-seat (with a five-seat option), retractable tricycle landing gear, composite construction aircraft with a twin engine pusher configuration and the canard layout of the Velocity XL single engine aircraft. Its fuselage is that of the XL-RG, with the addition of the single, vertical surface which replaces the twin end ...
Following the definition of angular velocity, one obtains: (+ /) = (/) = Solving these two equations for and , while the latter is defined as the distance from to the center of the robot = / = / (+) / Using the equation for the angular velocity, the instantaneous velocity of the point midway between the robot's wheels is given by = = + The ...
CECE was intended to lead to RL10 engines capable of deep throttling. [16] In 2007, its operability (with some "chugging") was demonstrated at 11:1 throttle ratios. [ 17 ] In 2009, NASA reported successfully throttling from 104 percent thrust to eight percent thrust, a record for an expander cycle engine of this type.
