Klein Independent School District (Klein ISD) is a school district that covers 87.5 square miles (227 km 2) in Harris County, Texas, United States. It became an independent school district in 1938. Almost all of the territory is unincorporated ; a small portion of Houston is within the district.
Klein was the first high school established in the Klein Independent School District. It is accredited by the Texas Education Agency [10] and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. [citation needed] 93% of the 2006 graduating class planned on attending college, receiving over $7 million in college scholarships. [11]
It is the only school in Klein ISD which offers the program. [8] The Klein Oak graduating IB class of 2014 all received IB diplomas, becoming the first Klein Oak IB class to achieve a 100% pass rate. [5] Klein Oak offers the Dual Credit [14] and Advanced Placement programs, [15] for those students wishing to go on to further education. [5]

Vistas High School Program is an alternative public high school program based in unincorporated Harris County, Texas, United States, and part of the Klein Independent School District. Vistas serves grades 9 through 12. The program has a Houston, Texas mailing address but is not located in the Houston city limits. The Director is Peggy Ekster.

Opening in the Fall of 1979, Klein Forest welcomes students from the southern side of the district, including the Champions area of F.M. 1960. Klein Forest celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2009.
