The GSIS Museo ng Sining (English: GSIS Museum of Art) or the GSIS Museum is an art museum in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines established on April 23, 1996. It is located at the GSIS Building within the Financial Center Area of Bay City.
The museum has permanent displays for specimens of natural history, ethnographic materials, Oriental art objects, Philippine religious images, paintings, and Coins, Medals, and Memorabilia. The painting collection includes works from the 17th to the 20th century. [1] The museum also houses the museum gallery, a souvenir shop, and a mini-library.
The gallery was founded by sculptor Jason Tecson with painters Pow Martinez, Jeona Zoleta, and Sam Kiyoumarsi. [1] From 2012-2016, Geronimo Cristobal and Jason Tecson served as directors of the art gallery which briefly opened a space in The Fort, Bonifacio Global City, in Taguig. A number of artists exhibited and held studios at its premises.
