The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) is a national exam for students in grades 8-12. It's used to shortlist students for HBCSE's Mathematical Olympiad program. Students must be under 20 years old by June 30 of the IMO year and cannot have passed Class 12.

North Korea is the only country whose entire team has been caught cheating, resulting in its disqualification at the 32nd IMO in 1991 and the 51st IMO in 2010. International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) is conducted at two levels each year. Students from class I-XII may participate in the examination. International English Olympiad (IEO) used to be a single level exam each year, but since 2017–2018 it is conducted at two levels. Students from class I-XII can participate in this Olympiad.
