In January 2019 it was announced that the forested area in Block 51, south of the Belgrade-Novi Sad highway, is chosen as the location of the first Belgrade's pet cemetery. The cemetery will cover an area of 1.51 ha (3.7 acres), 70% of which will be green areas. The entire complex will be bordered with the protective green belt, 15 m (49 ft) wide.
