Thomas Lee Kirk (December 10, 1941 − September 28, 2021) [1] was an American actor, best known for his performances in films made by Walt Disney Studios such as Old Yeller, The Shaggy Dog, Swiss Family Robinson, The Absent-Minded Professor, and The Misadventures of Merlin Jones, as well as the beach party films of the mid-1960s.
The success of this performance led her to being cast in a series of "mother" roles, continuing with Old Yeller (1957) at Disney. [1] McGuire returned to Broadway in Winesburg, Ohio (1958), which had a short run, then she played a wife and mother in The Remarkable Mr. Pennypacker (1959) at Fox.

York also appeared in The Great Locomotive Chase, Westward Ho, the Wagons!, and Johnny Tremain which were all Walt Disney's productions.
Washburn began her career as a child actor, when she was three years old, [2] appearing in The Killer That Stalked New York (1950) and Frank Capra's Here Comes the Groom (1951). Her subsequent film credits included a supporting role in the Walt Disney feature Old Yeller (1957), [4] for which she is the last surviving cast member of the film. [5]
