Blackacre was first settled by the Tyler Family, who arrived in Louisville in 1780. Edward Tyler II purchased a Treasury Warrant allowing him to lay claim to a parcel of land. Moses Tyler was transferred, a portion of that, the 220 acres (89 ha) that now compromise the majority of Blackacre. Later the land was given to Moses's son, Presley.

The Von Allmen Dairy Farm House in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 11, 2007. [2] Built in 1912, it was purchased in 1919 by Emil Von Allmen, president of the Gray-Von Allmen Sanitary Milk Company. [3] It was described as "the last vestige of a well-known dairy farm". [4]

Simeon Moore House, also known as Cane Run Farm, is a historic house and farmstead located along Cane Run on Taylorsville Road, in the Fisherville neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. [1] [2] The Simeon Moore house was built by widower Simeon Moore (1804–1873) in about 1850.
