ODNR is responsible for overseeing and permitting all mineral extraction, monitoring dam safety, managing water resources, and mapping the state's major geologic structures and mineral resources. In addition, ODNR also oversees the registration of all of Ohio's watercraft and issues all of the state's hunting and fishing licenses.

Caesar Creek State Park is a public recreation area located in southwestern Ohio, five miles (8 km) east of Waynesville, in Warren, Clinton, and Greene counties. [2] The park is leased by the State from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, who in the 1970s erected a dam on Caesar Creek to impound a 2,830-acre (1,150 ha) lake. [2]

Hocking State Forest is a state forest in Hocking County, Ohio, United States. [1] The forest adjoins Hocking Hills State Park and three nature preserves including Conkle's Hollow State Nature Preserve. The forest is in one of the most scenic areas of Ohio, known as the Hocking Hills.
