    The federal maximum amount is $70 but my state minimum (NJ) is $95 so the state makes up the $25 difference. I get 81$ but to be fair I'm on SSI as well. Disability. A whopping 23$ while being on disability. I often question if the yearly paperwork is worth it. I'm only getting 253 dollars every month.

    Applied for food stamps in the state of Maryland, I got approved but never received my actual benefit card. When I call the local department of labor (multiple times) they are giving me the run around that they can't access any information and I have to actually go through the EBT company to inquire about my card.

    I’m also on Medicaid. I have no source of income other than my weekly unemployment check and have been living off my savings so far. I recently applied for SNAP in Maryland and they only approved me for $23. I don’t understand why I wasn’t approved for the full $290 or even $100. They also didn’t contact me about an interview.
