This can be mitigated with a 3 way center channel. But for most decent quality speakers, a two-way center channel has no noticeable lobing within +-20 about degrees of perpendicular, so that gives you a 40 degree “cone” of an ideal listening window. I have a old Radio Shack Yagi, roof mounted with a rotor. Also a Channel Master Preamp. 3 gig cable, balun wrapped in tape, mastic,tape, and a weather proof F Connector. I also cut off the cheapo spade connectors on the balun and used high quality Amp - Tyco Connectors and also soldered them. I think I did everything right.
It hasn't been mentioned on here yet, but the Google Live Channels app on the Stream+ is no longer supported by Google and the guide service is cut off, the functionality of the guide is now, select a station, the guide info is from the station itself hence only about 6-8 hours it will only show guide info for a channel you physically clicked to watch.
Center channel static. I just got my 5.1 surround system setup a week ago. All has been running well until about 2 days ago. When I flip my Onkyo receiver on for the day, I get some static sound coming out of my center channel. I checked it out and thought that maybe something was loose, so I reconnected both ends, but the problem remained.
