Chevelle sales remained strong: 327,631 in the 1973 model year, plus 59,108 station wagons. The more upmarket Malibu continued to be best sellers, and many Chevelles went to fleets. The Laguna coupe and sedan had 56,036 sales. Super Sport options were on 28,647 Chevelles, of which 2,500 had the 454-cubic-inch engine.
