The Clive Disposal Site is the site of a radioactive waste storage facility [1] currently operated by EnergySolutions in Clive, Utah, an unincorporated community of Tooele County. [2] It is located in the western portion of the state, close to the Dugway Proving Grounds .
This facility was known as the Aptus Incinerator, and was built there in 1991 after Tooele County established the surrounding lands as the West Desert Hazardous Industries District.
