Mark Aguilar Villar (Tagalog pronunciation:, born August 14, 1978) is a Filipino politician and businessman serving as a Senator since 2022. He served in President Rodrigo Duterte's cabinet as the Secretary of Public Works and Highways from 2016 to 2021, [3] and was the COVID-19 pandemic isolation czar from 2020 to 2021.
Villar organized the Senate slate of his ticket, composed of Pia Cayetano, Bongbong Marcos (who joined Nacionalista with his family due to dispute with KBL members), Susan Ople, former Marine Colonel Ariel Querubin, former news reporter and congressman Gilbert Remulla, former military captain Ramon Mitra III, and Adel Tamano.
It was recorded by SB19 and Filipino folk-pop band Ben&Ben, and produced by SB19, Ben&Ben, Mark Villar, and Jean-Paul Verona. It marks the first collaboration between SB19 and Ben&Ben. [ 30 ] The performance video was shot at the reopened art deco-inspired Manila Metropolitan Theatre after six years of restoration.

Cynthia Aguilar Villar (Tagalog pronunciation:, born Cynthia Ampaya Aguilar on July 29, 1950) [1] is a Filipina politician currently serving as a Senator of the Philippines. She was a member of the House of Representatives for the Lone District of Las Piñas from 2001 to 2010 before winning a seat in the Senate in 2013, placing tenth.
Local elections were held in Las Piñas on May 9, 2016, within the Philippine general election.The voters elected for the elective local posts in the city: the mayor, vice mayor, the one Congressman, and the councilors, six in each of the city's two legislative districts.
Their son Mark Villar was a Secretary of Public Works and Highways during the Duterte Administration from 2016 to 2022. He is controversial, because he built the CAVITEX–C-5 Link or the Las Pinas flyover. The project has no direction, but it affects the Right of way of the LRT Line 1 Cavite Extension.
