WMAZ-TV (channel 13) is a television station in Macon, Georgia, United States, affiliated with CBS and The CW Plus.The station is owned by Tegna Inc., and maintains studios on Gray Highway on the northeast side of Macon; its transmitter is located on GA 87/US 23/129 ALT (Golden Isles Highway) along the Twiggs–Bibb county line.
Evening news programming begins at 6:30pm, 5:30pm, or 3:30pm Eastern Time Zone/Pacific Time Zone, after network affiliates' late local news. On PBS, and cable television, news starts at 6:00 pm, earlier, or later ET/PT.
Dana Tyler (born November 24, 1958) is a former news anchor and reporter at WCBS-TV in New York City, where she anchored the station's 6 p.m. newscast.In addition, Tyler hosted Eye on New York, a half-hour weekly community affairs program for WCBS, as well as several annual local specials: CBS 2 at the Tonys; CBS 2 at the Met; and Tunnel to Towers Run.
