U.S. Route 441 (US 441) is a 939-mile-long (1,511 km) auxiliary route of U.S. Route 41.It extends from US 41 in Miami, Florida to US 25W in Rocky Top, Tennessee.Between its termini, US 441 travels through the states of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

The highways then continue northeasterly through Wears Valley to Pigeon Forge where they turn south onto US 441 and travel concurrent for 8.5 miles (13.7 km) to Gatlinburg (just before Gatlinburg, they have an interchange with Gatlinburg Bypass), where SR 73 and US 321 turn east and US 441
(Highway route signs once gave the conflicting directions.) The route crosses the Pigeon River and enters downtown at the intersection with SR 66 (Winfield Dunn Parkway; provides access to I-40), where US 441/SR 71 splits southward, as Forks of the River Parkway, to go to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
In the mid-1950s, the stretch of the parkway through Pigeon Forge was widened to four lanes. [9] [10] Construction on the section between Banner Bridge and Caney Creek south of Pigeon Forge began on April 25, 1957, and was completed on October 29, 1958, with the exception of the northbound tunnel, which opened on March 3, 1959 [7]
