Since the most recent update of my NordVPN software I've being getting the message "Login Failed We hit an authentication error". Thing is I haven't even got as far as the login credentials screen before getting the message. It appears as soon as I hit the Login button. Tried reinstalling etc no joy. Archived post.
First, I couldn't get to nordvpn.com to even attempt to login and I discovered that my ISP (Sky UK) blocks nord by default. To get around this I had to login to the Sky mobile app and go to broadband setting and allow the following urls (by tracing what it was trying to do): nordvpn.com. nordaccount.com.

If you have other apps on your browser that like NoScript try temporally disabling them just to get the app back up. I agree with others we should be able to just put our login details into the app and have fk all to do with logging into nordvpn website that then passes the credentials back to the app. Hope this helps someone. 2.

No, this login problem is pretty exceptional. In general NordVPN work perfectly without interruptions on large period, weeks or even months. Been a member since 2017, issues this big are pretty very rare. Been using Nord for years and never had this issue before. You got hit with the bad luck stick it looks like 😬.
