The episode was written by Vince Gilligan, and directed by Adam Bernstein; it aired on AMC in the United States and Canada on January 27, 2008.. This episode was originally supposed to be the death of Domingo Gallardo “Krazy 8” Molina alongside with his cousin but the producers loved the performance of Archinega that they begged Gilligan for him to stay longer.
