The Balochistan National Party or Balochistan National Party (Mengal) (Urdu: بلوچستان نيشنل پارٹی ; Balūcistān Nēśanal Pārtī) is a political party in Balochistan, Pakistan. BNP believes in more provincial rights and greater autonomy for Baluchistan province through peaceful and democratic struggle.
BSO, led by Chairman Balach Qadir Baloch, was formed in the early 2000s. Though it subscribes to the radical nationalist ideology of Balochistan's secession from Pakistan, it has affiliated itself with the mainstream Balochistan National Party (Mengal) (BNP–M), which is the largest opposition party in the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan. It is considered to be the successor of the Kalat National Party. Abdul Hai Baloch became the first chairman of the National Party and Hasil Bizenjo became the secretary general of the new party.
